GCI MMS Settings for iPhone and Android Devices

GCI MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) settings for sending and receiving MMS messages. Get a GCI plan to successfully send and receive MMS messages.

GCI MMS Settings for iPhone

On your iPhone, navigate to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Network then input the settings below under MMS section.

  • APN: mms.gci
  • MMS: http://mmsc.gci.net
  • MMS Proxy: 24.237.158.34
  • MMS Port: 9201
  • MMS Max Message Size: 1048576
  • MMS UA Prof URL: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf
  • Security PIN (if requested): 1234

Save then use the settings then set up GCI APN internet settings to browse the internet.

GCI MMS Settings for Android Devices

Navigate to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names for Samsung Galaxy devices and Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Select SIM > Access Point Names for other Android devices then add the settings below. You can find APN page for other devices.

  • Name: GCI MMS
  • APN: mms.gci
  • Username: (Not set – Leave it blank)
  • Password: (Not set – Leave it blank)
  • Proxy: (leave it blank – not set )
  • Port: (Leave it blank – not set)
  • Server: (leave it blank )
  • MMSC: http://mmsc.gci.net
  • MMS Proxy: 24.237.158.34
  • MMS Port: 9201
  • MCC: (leave default)
  • MNC: (leave default)
  • Authentication type: (none)
  • APN type: mms
  • APN protocol: IPv4/IPv6
  • APN roaming protocol: IPv4/IPv6
  • Bearer: (Unspecified)
  • Mobile virtual network operator: (none )

Save the settings then set up GCI APN internet settings for access to the internet via a 4G LTE or 5G. Restart your Android device for the settings to take effect.
