Metro by T-Mobile MMS Settings for iPhone and Android Devices

Metro by T-Mobile MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) Settings for Android devices and iPhones. To successfully send and receive MMS messages, ensure you have Metro by T-Mobile MMS plan and within network coverage. Activate your SIM if it is not yet active.

Metro by T-Mobile MMS Settings for iPhone

Enable MMS on your iPhone by navigating to Settings > Messages then click the button to enable MMS.

Set up Metro by T-Mobile MMS on your iPhone by navigating to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Network then input the settings below under MMS section.

  • APN: fast.metropcs.com
  • Username: (leave this blank)
  • Password: (leave this blank)
  • MMSC: http:// metropcs.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc
  • MMS Proxy: (leave this blank)
  • MMS Max Message Size: 1048576
  • MMS UA Prof URL: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf

Save the settings then set up Metro by T-Mobile APN internet net settings.

Metro by T-Mobile MMS Settings for Android Devices

To set up Metro by T-Mobile MMS on your Android device, navigate to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names for Samsung galaxy devices and Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Select SIM > Access Point Names for other Android devices. Tap on + to add new APN then input the settings below.

  • Name: Metro by T-Mobile MMS
  • APN: fast.metropcs.com
  • Username: (Not set – Leave it blank)
  • Password: (Not set – Leave it blank)
  • Proxy: (leave it blank – not set)
  • Port: (Leave it blank – not set)
  • Server: (leave it blank)
  • MMSC: http:// metropcs.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc
  • MMS Proxy: (leave blank)
  • MMS Port: (Not Set)
  • MCC: 310
  • MNC:16
  • Authentication type: (none)
  • APN type: default,mms,supl
  • APN protocol: IPv4/IPv6
  • APN enable/disable: enabled
  • Bearer: (Unspecified)
  • Mobile virtual network operator: (none)

Save the Metro by T-Mobile MMS then set up Metro by T-Mobile APN internet settings as the two work hand in hand to give you the best experience.

Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) is gradually being replaced by Rich Communications Service (RCS) on Android devices and iMessage on Apple devices.
