Ad Blocking Browser for Android

Adblock Plus is a browser extension  commonly know on desktop browsers for blocking Ads and giving users the full web experience of browsing without  Ads as it’s name suggests. The team behind it has now developed an Android browser that is capable of blocking advertisements that are in web pages by default.

The team has developed the browser only for android as per now and beginning today (Wednesday),  users can join a special google plus community that will give them access to the browser still in it’s beta stage. The features of the browser highlighted by the developers include Automatic Ad blocking by default, faster and efficient browsing , total control and safer browsing. Ads by nature are created to be flashy for them to be seen   which consume your battery a lot and make web pages load slowly. Adblock Plus team hopes to solve this by using a browser. Safer because malware can be embedded within the ad and a browser will eliminate all these.

The team has just announced that they are waiting for Google to publish application on its App store. Once its up and running, I will be among the first to download and certainly i will share the experience. The link provided on the community doesn’t work for now. In the mean time, keep an eye on the Google plus community for updates.
