How to take a screenshot on iPhone

To take a screenshot on iPhone without a home button, press the Side button with the volume up button at the same time. This applies to iPhone X, iPhone 11, iPhone 12, iPhone 13.

For iPhones with home buttons, press the side button and the home button at the same time. This is for iPhone 8, iPhone 7, iPhone 6, and earlier models.

Screenshots are saved to Photos under the screenshots category.

To record your iPhone screen, swipe top to bottom to reveal quick Control Center settings then start screen record. This is normally the big white dot with a circle.
