GEAR 2 AND GEAR 2 NEO TIZEN POWERED WATCHES ANNOUNCED

Samsung has finally decided to announce next gen tizen powered smart watch.
After a long time of speculation,Samsung has finally decided to announce the
successor to the rather unimpressive galaxy gear but this time powered by Samsung’s
own Tizen o ahead of the mobile world Congress tomorrow.

As noted from its name,Sumsung chose to drop the galaxy brand since its associated with
it’s android powered devices.However they are still compatible with other android
devices.Its comes in two versions.One top end with a camera and the other without
just to cut on cost for developing countries and bank mindful individuals.
Other than that both devices look similar hardware wise.

their specs are as listed below
                               -Camera2MP AF (1080*1080,1920*1080,1280*960)
                                Gear 2 Neo has no camera
                               -screen 1.63″(320*320)
                               -memory -RAM 512MB
                                       -ROM GB
                               -Battery 300MAH up to 6 days
                               -Sensors -Gyroscope , heart rate monitor,Accelerometer. 
                               -Dimensions -Gear 2 (36.9*58.4*10 MM)
                                           -Gear 2Neo (37.9*58.8*58.8 MM)
                               -IP67 certified.Dust and water resistant
                               -Software -Tizen OS with a couple of health related and essential
                                          software like Runstatic ,weather etc.
                                    
As you can see ,these two devices are nearly the same.

This device has been specifically designed for health related features though with  IR blaster support.
These software are-Fitness-Exercise,pedometer,Heart rate monitor.
                   -Companion mode:cycling and hiking.
                   -Standalone modes: running walking
                   -sleep and stress ,Music player with Bluetooth headset and speaker
                   -WatchON Remote:remote controller via IrLED sensor.
It also come with other basic features like calculator etc.
There also a Tizen App store.
                  
This device is expected to be available by April.Pricing not yet confirmed Though speculation
have it that it will cost around $200 for Neo and $250 for the other one.
