Life Wireless is a government-assisted wireless service provided by TEL-LINK, Inc. It is a free cell phone program that is available to eligible low-income individuals and families in select states in the United States.

To qualify for Life Wireless, individuals must meet certain income requirements or participate in certain government programs such as Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA), or Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefits.

The program provides eligible participants with a free smartphone, free monthly minutes, and free texts. Additionally, Life Wireless offers low-cost data plans for those who need additional data.

Life Wireless is available in several states including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Lifeline & Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)

Lifeline and Affordable Connectivity (ACP) are government benefit programs that enable citizens to stay connected for the purposes of education, work, health, and more. The Lifeline program was started in 1985 and had changed over time to meet the changing needs of the citizens. The two programs are provided by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to eligible households in the united states.

The eligibility criteria for Lifeline and ACCP are

Unlimited data comes with a specified amount of data to be used for high-speed data. Once you’re out of the high-speed allotted data for the month, the internet speed is reduced to 256Kbps. You can always buy more high-speed data to top up your free monthly plan.
