Nokia had been rumored for long to be launching an android device. This however happened
at the MWC in Barcelona this month. If you missed the full review ,you can get it here.
They however promised that they would take this to developing countries because this is actually where  the device was intended for.

On 10th march, the device was launched in India.Today it is Kenya and soon to other countries.

Nokia decided to launch one of the three phones in Kenya,That is the Nokia X.

The device has not so bad specs as listed below

    – Display: 4 inch (480 x 800 pixels) IPS LCD touchscreen
    -Processor: 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4
   – Memory: 4 GB internal storage
-512 MB for the Nokia X
    -Camera: 3 MP
    -Battery: 1500mAh
    -Others: 3G connectivity, dual-SIM support

Notably the device comes with 10 GB of cloud storage. It will will be available in Safaricom shops going for kshs12,000

This device was initially intended by Nokia to compete with other lower end phones from the
many android manufacturers out there. This is not a bad phone though with that price i expected more.
