Total by Verizon, previously called Total Wireless, is a no-contract mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) operating in the United States using the Verizon network infrastructure. It provides 4G LTE and 5G wireless services with unlimited plans.

Total Wireless was rebranded Total by Verizon on September 21, 2022. This update came along with new plans and the $60 has access to Verizon’s 5G Ultra-Wideband. 5G Ultra-Wideband provides the fastest 5G connection available though limited by distance and objects. It needs a clear line of sight to provide these fastest speeds.

The best plan for Total by Verizon is the $40 monthly plan where you get 15GB of data. Many people use an average of 14.6GB per month of data. The $40 plan should be sufficient for very many people. You can always upgrade to the $50 plan if you plan on sharing your internet connection with your computer or other devices through a hotspot.

You can always refill if you run out of your plan before the month ends. Consider upgrading the plan if you run out of the subscribed plan regularly.

Verizon LTE bands include 2, 4, 5, 13, 46, 48, 66.

5G Bands include n77, n260, n261 n2, n5, and n66.
