Pix Wireless MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) settings for Android and iOS devices. MMS settings are used to send and receive pictures, videos and audio files.
Set up Pix Wireless MMS settings to send and receive pictures and videos. To successfully do this, you need Pix Wireless plan and be within network coverage.
Pix Wireless MMS Settings for iPhone
Enable MMS on iPhone by navigating to Settings > Messages > MMS Messaging.
Manually set up Pix Wireless MMS by navigating to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Network then input the settings below.
- APN: PRODATA
- Username: (leave this blank)
- Password: (leave this blank)
- MMSC: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
- MMS Proxy: proxy.mobile.att.net
- MMS Port: 80
- MMS Max Message Size: 1048576
- MMS UA Prof URL: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf
Save then set up Pix Wireless APN internet settings. Restart your iPhone for the settings to take effect.
Pix Wireless MMS Settings for Android Devices
Pix Wireless MMS on Android is set together on the same page as APN internet settings. Set up Pix Wireless APN internet settings then restart your device. Ensure that all the settings related to sending and receiving MMS messages are set up appropriately. These are the MMS Proxy, MMSC, APN Type, and MMS Port.
Pix Wireless Automatic Network configuration
To reset Pix Wireless network settings, navigate to Settings > General >Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings, input your passcode, and restart your iPhone. You’ll receive new network configurations.
To reset Pix Wireless network configuration on Android, remove your SIM then restart your device. insert your device once more then install the network configuration, APN and MMS included. If you do not receive the configurations after 2 minutes of waiting, set your Pix Wireless APN settings manually.
