SFone Wireless is a phone service provider in the United States and is a subsidiary of Cintex Wireless which is owned and operated by HTH Communications, LLC. It provides Pay-Per-Use and prepaid data, text and calling to both local international destinations.

SFone Wireless provides free phone plans through government’s Lifeline program that provides subsidies of up to $30 per month to eligible households and up to $70 to citizens living in tribal lands. SFone Wireless partnered with Cintex Wireless, an ETC (Eligible Telecommunications Carrier) to provide the service.

Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a federal government program that replaced Emergency Broadband Benefit(EBB) Program. The program is intended to keep needy families and people who fall in special group with broadband services by subsidizing monthly bills and free government phones and devices likes tablets. For the government to effectively discharge this, it partnered with service providers like SFone Wireless.

The program is based on eligibility and some criteria like Food Stamps and tribal lands residents have to be met. Generally, if you qualify for Lifeline or receive government benefit of some sort, a veteran or a tribal lands resident, you qualify for the ACP program.
