Access Point name is required by any mobile service provider in order to connect the user to the internet through mobile broadband. This is the 5G, 4G LTE, or 3G network. It is the gateway between these networks and the public internet.
The settings are unique to SpeedTalk and therefore and are as shown below for iPhones and Android devices. You can use these settings elsewhere on a compatible device provided you have a theory SIM.
SpeedTalk APN Internet Settings for iPhone
For an iPhone, go to Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Network then add the settings below
- APN: wholesale
- Username: (Leave blank)
- Password: (Leave blank)
You can also access SIM applications on your iPhone.
SpeedTalk APN Internet Settings for Android Smartphones
For a Samsung Galaxy, OnePlus, Google Pixel, or any other Android smartphone or tablet, go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names then add new. You can also find this under Wireless and internet if this option isn’t available on your specific device and android version. Here are the APN Settings:
- Name: SpeedTalk
- APN: wholesale
- Username: (Not set – Leave it blank)
- Password: (Not set – Leave it blank)
- Proxy: (leave it blank – not set )
- Port: (Leave it blank – not set)
- Server: (leave it blank )
- MMSC: http://wholesale.vno.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc
- MMS Proxy: (leave blank)
- MMS Port: (Not Set)
- MCC: (leave blank)
- MNC: (leave blank)
- Authentication type: (none)
- APN type: (default,supl)
- APN protocol: IPv4/IPv4
- Bearer: (Unspecified)
- Mobile virtual network operator: (none )
Save the newly added APN then select SpeedTalk as the active APN. You may need to restart your smartphone for the settings to take effect.
You can also share your internet connection with a laptop, PC, or any other WiFi-capable device through a hotspot.
